摘要
The different urban actors and social practices that take place in cities, materialized in different forms of production of habitat, contribute to the configuration of the representations built regarding the types of existing territories and its residents. Among those representations are the territorial stigmas, which operate as distinctive signs and of social differentiation among social groups. Given this framework, we conduct a comparative analysis of two segregated territories, whose origins have been differential: (1) A neighborhood of social housing produced by the state, inaugurated in 2004, and (2) a settlement developed through a land grab organized by a group of families in 2013. We identify the common and divergent aspects in relation to how they experience the neighborhood and the city on a daily basis, as a process that enables them to grasp the position they occupy in the social and urban space.
